Abstract: This study is one case-study based upon the sustainable Japanese education. It is the education to seek for the sustainable life, knowing the world from one's viewpoint and thinking the relevant through dialogue with others in the language education, compared with the education for the immediate effects under social globalization. The aim of this study is to see what the former Japanese teacher (Ms. N) considered “study” and how she changed the attitude towards “study” in the preparatory education for graduate school. She kept thinking of “study” and the social significance of “study” through the class activities for 3 months. By PAC analysis it is recognized she has found a new theme on the issue of Japanese-Brazilian children, instead of the former theme on Japanese acquisition for learners in the Japanese class. It is suggested that such result has come from keeping the problem-awareness and thinking social significance in “ study ” from the starting point, making use of the resources in the academic surroundings. The future subject is to see what attitude the other participants had towards “study” and what kind of class- activities and interaction were going on in this class.
