Mail to address editj＠ipsj.or.jp, please. 007 情報学 application/pdf 学術雑誌論文 本論文では、バーコードリーダのようなID認識装置と、マウスのような相対移動検出装置を組み合わせた、新しい入力装置Absolute　Mouseを提 案し、その応用について述べる。物体上のIDをAbsolute　Mouseで読み込んでから、この装置を移動させることで、IDからの相対座標を知るこ とができる。そこで、紙、机、壁、床などにIDを貼りつけることにより、これらの表面をペンタブレットのような絶対位置入力装置と同じように使用すること ができる。Absolute　Mouseを使用することによって、実世界のあらゆる平面を位置入力装置として使うことができるようになるため、実世界指向 インタフェースシステムを安価に構築できるようになる。 The Absolute Mouse is a new pointing device which is a combination of a mouse (a relative movement detector) and a bar-code reader (an ID symbol reader). When a user moves this device starting from ID symbol on an object, we can detect absolute position on the object. Consequently, any surface such as papers, tables, and walls can be used as absolute coordinates input devices like digital tablets.
