 note = {This paper examines points taken into consideration in order to make the contents suitable for young children when books for young children are published in Japan since 2010. So I focused on Aliceʼs adventures in Wonderland, a world-famous childrenʼs literature.
I analyzed the content of this work and its 26 Japanese translations for young children. I also compared the contents of the Nursery “Alice”, which is a work rewritten by the author for 0-5 years old, and the contents of translated works for young children in Japan since 2010.
As a result, it was found that the images of some characters and scenes changed significantly. All the changed images were that brought anxiety to the main character Alice, such as identity and danger of life.
These have been removed from current Japanese translations, and new bright and secure images have been added.
In addition, consideration has been taken to ensure that children who experience the world of the story with the main character Alice are physically and mentally safe from beginning to end.
In Japan since 2010, publishing bright-image books for young children takes precedence over publishing stories that are true to the original.},
