The risk of infection is high where many people gather, and the commuter train is also one of the high-risk places. In this study, for the purpose of evaluating the risk of infection in commuter trains, the spread of viruses in trains running with windows opened is investigated by numerical simulation. The basic equations are the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with Boussinesq approximation and the advection-diffusion equation for virus concentration and temperature. Simulations are performed in 76 cases in which the size of the window opening, the presence or absence of air conditioning, the occupancy rate of people, the position of the source, etc. are changed.
