Preschool education\nplays an active role in several aspects, including encouraging economic growth, reducing regional disparities,\npromoting social stability and popularizing basic education. In Yunnan province, the “One Village, One\nKindergarten” program has been implemented to expand preschool education resources in rural areas. The\nmain initiative is to build inclusive kindergartens by converting one-year preschool classes into inclusive\nkindergartens. Consequently, the number of inclusive kindergartens has increased. However, the situation of\npreschool education in rural areas remains grim.
