We classified solely stating experience of stress as low-level\ncontent, inclusion of related thoughts and feelings as moderate-level content, and additional inclusion of\npossible future impact as high-level content. The results of this study indicated that those who predominately\nwrote moderate-level messages, in contrast to low- and high-level content, tended to feel less stressed\nafterwards over a short period. However, the stress release did not hold in the long run. Furthermore,\nconsistent with previous studies that focused on number of messages, we also found that people who often\nwrote about stress experiences on SNS - no matter the depth - tended to be more depressed.
