On the other hand, an Afro-Jamaican novelist, Erna Brodber, who expects the American blacks to undertake the leadership of worldwide black group, rejects Caribbean inferior representations inscribed by the Western domination, and insists on retelling their culture and history by themselves newly in Myal.
