Higher fatty acids dehydrogenase of porcine liver was investigated. 2. This enzyme action was significantly recognized in the fraction which was salted out at 0.4-0.5 saturation about ammonium salfate from the extract obtained from liver with 0.9% cold NaCl solution. 3. This enzyme was found to be so feeble that the purification was obliged to stop at the very primitive stage.
