The report consists of 2 parts; the history of the Jew immigration process to Palestine and the present circumstances of Israel. The description of this short report depends on many books concerning of this area and the short visit in 1999 just before the present difficult situation. The purpose of this report is as follows. Many journalists have reported on the Middle East, the most changeable area in the world. But there are a few reports dealt with the process of Jew immigration into Palestine from the regional point of view. My report researches the process of Jew immigration to Palestine as "a struggle for land". At first, Jew immigrants bought the land in the northern part of Palestine from arabic landowners. Then they organized the modern agricultural communities so-called Kibbutz and Moshav, and, therefore, Palestine tenants lost their farms. Next Jew people immigrated to towns and cities in Palestine. After\ the foundation of Israel in 1948, the government extended its territory by the wars. The Palestine people were forced to move from their home land and became to be refugees. Some new data by my short visit as a member of study tour for geographical teachers show the present circumstance of Israel. This tour continued from Cairo to Tel Aviv via Sinai peninsula, western coast of the Dead Sea, Masada fort ruins, some Kibbutzes, the Golan highland, Jerusalem and etc. We saw new rich villages of Jew and arabic poor olive fields. Jew people came to Palestine after the long suffering from Pogrom and Holocaust. On the other hand, Palestine people were lost their home land by the Jew invasion. I think these two people are victims of historical inevitable incidents. It is the worldwide issue how to coexistence for them.}, pages = {47--60}, title = {イスラエルにおけるユダヤ人入植の地域的展開}, volume = {43}, year = {2002} }
