The result shows that learning support helps them develop their self-efficacy, and therefore boosts their motivations for studying Japanese. It is also found that having readers other than professors they are likely to produce more reader-oriented writing. Moreover, both tutors and exchange students perceive building of “rapport” as vital in learning support program.
