However, students in the lower grades are not included in the targets, who are more likely to lose their L1. This article analyzed a precedence language class in L1 based on the \"inter development and learning model of academic learning, L1 and L2\" for a Chinese child (elementary school, grades 2). It showed that L1 language class enabled her to activate, reconstruct schemas for academic learning.
