As a result, the following points were clarified. (1) Students often use a compensation strategy (looking at visual materials), meta-cognitive strategy (listening to interesting topics) and cognitive strategy (taking notes) in listening class. (2) Students often use a meta-cognitive strategy (making listening objectives) and cognitive strategy (listening to tapes repeatedly) when they practice listening after class.
