The subjects are 14 teacher trainees, studying Japanese language teaching in a graduate school. We recorded their discussions for practical training preparation and interviewed them after the training program, and analyzed how \"the experienced and the non-experienced\" categories are constructed and distinguished in their consciousness and interaction. We observe that each of them put themselves in either categories to identify themselves, and achieve their own category in their interaction. On the other hand, they tried to avoid grouping themselves in either of the categories in order to maintain equal relationship as classmates.
