However, reflecting a paradigm shift to promote women in society, it has\ been more crucial to take the strategic approach to leadership programs at women’ s colleges.\ In short, they could be restructured as an arena of professional higher education to train\ global female leaders who combine mentoring skills with broader perspective. The leadership\ development programs for college students were researched at the top 5 US women’ s colleges\ in the Boston area, Wellesley College, Smith College, Barnard College, Simmons College, and\ Mount Holyoke College. The common features clearly seen through their leadership programs\ are “Diversity” , “Alumni Networking” , and “Fund raising” .
