Four\\\nhundred and nineteen new students and four hundred and twenty-one guardians completed\\\nquestionnaire surveys about student life, career, dormitories, and their families. We report\\\nthe main findings as follows: 1. The percentage of students who commute from their own\\\nhome is 56.7%. Therefore, about 40 percent of students commute from their dormitory or\\\nboardinghouse, etc. Further, 50.5% of the students living outside of their own home receive\\\na monthly remittance of less than 100,000 yen. 2. The percentage of guardians who need\\\nscholarships for their children increased over ten points from the previous year among those\\\nwith household incomes under 6,000,000 yen. 3. About 70% of students surveyed wish to keep\\\nworking after marriage and having children. 4.
