 note = {application/pdf, 学術雑誌論文, Aware Homeは，ジョージア工科大学のキャンパス内に建設された，家庭向けコンピュータ利用を研究する実験住宅である．2000年春の完成以来，建物，家具，日用品に埋め込んだコンピュータ，ネットワーク，センサを利用して，人の状況認識技術の開発やアプリケーションの研究が進められている．筆者はここで，単機能のコンピュータを組み込んだ家具や日用品を使って，収納物の探索支援や，遠隔家族とのコミュニケーション支援を実現するシステムを試作した．本報告では，Aware Homeのプロジェクトを中心に，日常生活を豊かにするユビキタスコンピューティング研究を紹介する．, The Aware Home is an experimental residential laboratory at Georgia Institute of Technology.Since the completion of the house in spring 2000, research on human context recognition and everyday computing applications has been carried out, using ubiquitous computers, networks and sensors embedded in the house and everyday things such as furnishings and small appliances. The author has developed systems for finding daily objects and for communication between family members, using furniture and decor with single function computers. This report introduces research projects at the Aware Home, to support everyday human activities by ubiquitous computing.},
