In addition, focusing on the \ costumes of the parade attendants, characteristics and functions of the costumes are considered. In this paper, the term “parade attendants” is used to refer to the members of the parade who played the attendants of the main roles in the program.\ The content age of the “Go-Sairei-Gyouretsu” was estimated to be during 1733 to 1738. Costumes of the parade attendants were revealed to carry crests that indicated the names of towns, while the use of cotton for their costumes was revealed to indicate their subordinate roles in the theme of the \ program. It was also clarified that serrated design seen on some of the cuffs of the costumes was found to be a common pattern in a number of parades.
