 note = {application/pdf, 紀要論文, Age of the content described in the Hosa Library Collection.s “Go-Sairei-Gyouretsu” (historical material on the parade of the Nagoya Tosyogu Shrine Festival) is being estimated through the use of literature and pictorial materials of the festival with evident dates. In addition, focusing on the \
costumes of the parade attendants, characteristics and functions of the costumes are considered.  In this paper, the term “parade attendants” is used to refer to the members of the parade who played the attendants of the main roles in the program.\
The content age of the “Go-Sairei-Gyouretsu” was estimated to be during 1733 to 1738.  Costumes of the parade attendants were revealed to carry crests that indicated the names of towns, while the use of cotton for their costumes was revealed to indicate their subordinate roles in the theme of the \
program.  It was also clarified that serrated design seen on some of the cuffs of the costumes was found to be a common pattern in a number of parades.  It has also been found that the costumes of the people pulling the festival floats were different from those of the people steering.},
