A questionnaire was administered to 133 Chinese foreign students. By factor analysis, the causal attribution perceived discrimination by Japanese bosses displaying in-group favoritism (Scenario A) were “out-group,” “in-group self,” “in-group others,” “fortuity.” The scene recognition and mismatch of passengers due to cultural differences between China’s and Japan's hospitality (Scenario B) were “ out-group, ” “ in-group self, ” “ in-group others, ” “ cultural ” and “ fortuity. ” In addition, as resolution\ behavior, two factors “cooperation” and “confrontation” in Scenario A, and three factors “confrontation”, “cooperation” and “obedience” in Scenario B were indicated. Moreover, according to causal attribution, when perceived discrimination was observed in the “out-group,” they selected “confrontation” as their resolution behavior.
