Examination of nursing-related literature published from 1995 onwards regarding adult education and learning revealed mostly qualitative studies conducted with a wide range of participants, including nurses, instructors and students. Andragogical analysis of the literature content revealed that while most research demonstrated practical application of learner experiences, support for increased selfdetermination remained insufficient. Conversely, in medical education, an adult education perspective has already been introduced into basic education with implementation of student-centered study, such as problem-based learning, and a recent shift toward study of learning methods rather than knowledge. Methodologies such as reflection, self-study ability and portfolios have already been introduced in nursing; however, the absence of literature regarding adult education, which forms the basis for these, is a major issue. Further research is required regarding training for research supervisors and education supporters to provide support for increased self-determination.}, pages = {211--219}, title = {わが国の看護と医療の領域における成人教育・成人学習に関する文献考察}, volume = {15}, year = {2013} }
