Some critical suggestion has come out of case studies on a few major life science projects such as a human genome project, a brain science project, and a human stem cell research project. Experts who have been assigned to deal with ethical issues in a life science project tend to be observation-minded. Among processes to address ethical issues, defying and taking into account of ethical issues should be implemented by strong partnership between life science researches and bioethics-conscious experts. The case study shows isolated organization of bioethics experts in the life science projects and lack of mutual understanding between them.
