However, this ambiguous concept has not been concretely comprehended by the teachers in the fields of childcare and education. Furthermore, there has been very little research into subject of “atmosphere” in regard to childcare and education. Therefore, it was important to research the meaning of this atmosphere from the pedagogic anthropology-based perspective proposed by Bollnow. Case studies show that this atmosphere is anchored by the relationships between adults and children, while also making it clear that these relationships are definitely sensed by both adults and children alike.
