The sample data analyzed in this study are married men and women under the age of 49 from the Japanese General Social Survey in 2006. The results show that both men and women who have a more traditional gender ideology tend to have more than two children. Additionally, it is implied that the income level of the original family affects the probability of the birth of a third child for men. On the other hand, marital satisfaction and financial satisfaction affect probability of the birth of a third child birth for women. Those results indicate that the factors impacting the number of children differ depending on the current gender system.}, pages = {291--298}, title = {子ども数を規定するミクロ要因 : JGSS2006の分析から}, volume = {14}, year = {2012} }
