As for this novel, the disagreement between the expression written by Japanese that multiuses pseudoclassicism vocabulary and content that reflects the culture at the Chinese literature has been always targeted in the criticism. However, Ayatari had announced his literary theory that influenced by Kamono Mabuchi's Japanese classical literature before this novel was written. Based on the theory, he tried to make the supplement concomitance of voice and mark, of Japanese culture and Chinese culture to create more complex, more delicate literary expression. And, this novel was one achievement as the practical theory.},
