In this article, the concept of learning styles are defined, and earlier literatures concerning learning styles are surveyed, based mainly on Reid's (1995) classification. They are categorized as 3 types; sensory learning style, affective learning style, and cognitive learning style. After that, the learning styles of Korean learners are reviewed. The studies concerning learning styles of Korean learners are few and give an impression of being inclined toward the studies of sensory learning styles. Therefore it would be inferred that multiple approaches are needed. This article focused on cognitive learning style, which is considered very important since learning is a sort of process to manage, preserve, and apply new information. Experiential learning theory of Kolb is widely acknowledged in the western world but it has hardly been examined in the field of Japanese language teaching. So there needs to be further studies, especially concerning the validity and reliability of the\ learning style inventory in the context of his theory.}, pages = {47--54}, title = {韓国人日本語学習者における学習スタイルの研究動向 : Kolbの学習理論を中心に}, volume = {10}, year = {2008} }
