In order to encourage JSL learners to take initiatives for discourse management, an interview oriented HV program was conducted. It is unknown what kind of language activity JSL learners experience through the HV program. Thus, discourse features in conversations during the HV program were analyzed ; its aim is to build fundamental resources for learning activities in conversation education. The results showed the comprehensive discourse features in terms of initiatives. Initiatives in discourse between native speakers and JSL learners shifted like 'native speakers (chat)→learners (interview)→native speakers (chat)', and then learners took initiatives by stating for going away last of all. It is highly demanding that learners make utterances to take initiatives for giving an interview or leaving native speakers', considering about various factors such as relationship between conv\ ersation participants and contexts in an appropriate manner. Authentic conversations change dramatically depending upon relationship and contexts. Fostering flexible communicative skills through conversation education will be possible by exposing learners to authentic situations.}, pages = {211--222}, title = {ホームビジットで学習者が体験する談話の展開 : インタビユーを目的とする場合}, volume = {9}, year = {2006} }
