 note = {application/pdf, 紀要論文, 本稿の目的は，介護老人保健施設に勤務する介護職員に対するインタビュー調査にもとづき，職務の「専門性」の認識と評価の認識の詳細を明らかにすることにある．\\r\\\
これまで高齢者介護の施設現場では，施設整備や介護職の待遇改善にはじまり，施設の日常を一般的な高齢者の生活に近づける努力のなかで，さまざまな専門性に関する議論が蓄積されてきた．また，近年，施設生活が一定の水準に\\r\\\
達して以降，介護職には，利用者の日常生活により共感的にかかわることが求められている．しかし，当の介護職の人びとがこうした期待をどのように受け止め，日々の介護実践において何を感じ取っているのかについては，これまでほとんど光が当てられてはこなかった．\\r\\\
本稿の調査では，日常的ケアのスキルを磨くことや，利用者の内面を深く理解すること，また，利用者の生活を総合的に理解し，問題解決のために他職種や他制度とつないでいくことなどに「専門性」を見出していることが明らかに\\r\\\
なった．しかし一方で，介護職は施設労働の過重な負担や資格の序列，他職種との権限の違いなどに起因する権力のハイアラーキーのもとで無力感を感じており，所属する組織において自律性（autonomy）を発揮できない権力関係のもとにおかれることで専門性の確立が困難な状況にあることがわかった．, In Japan, there has been an increase in the number of arguments centering on the specialty of occupational care work. Some arguments emphasize that a care worker's specialty should be to cultivate his/her therapeutic abilities as a social worker. Other arguments stress that care specialty entails protecting a client's dignity or rights. Such trends cultivate in occupational care workers an urgency to strengthen their specialty. However, in the social context, the subjective definition of specialty has not been paid attention.\\r\\\
The purpose of this study is to explore the interpretation of “ Specialty ” through interviews with care workers in health care facilities for the elderly.\\r\\\
As a result of the analyses, the narratives of “ Specialty ” were divided into three categories― expertise of daily care work skills; acceptance of the values, beliefs, and reality of the client (especially individuals suffering from dementia despite it having no basis in their reality), and integrity of support and extension of roll boundaries toward the functions of a social worker. Many occupational care workers tend to assess\
their specialty as high. However, there are a great number of narratives concerning the interpretation of specialty. However, many occupational care workers are raked with a feeling of powerlessness under hierarchized conditions, which makes it difficult for them to establish specialty in their work.},
