This investigation adopts two methods. One is \nQuantitative Contents Analysis, which calculates the appearance frequency of the words, and the other \nis Contents Analysis to confirm the phase of the arguing points.\nThe results are as follows: 1)The reviews contained pros and cons during the performance period, 2)\nthe music and the movement attracted of the audience, and the evaluations changed over time, 3)the \nmost characteristic review is of Jacques Rivière, which showed a particularly strong positive view. \nFurther developing the analysis, it was concluded that Le Sacre provoked the Parisians to reconsider \nthe conventional idea of the dancing body. Nijinsky’s choreography received negative comments from \nthe conservative critics who regarded dance as a symbol of civilized human body. On the other hand, \nliberal people such as Rivière eventually refute a value of expressiveness in natural and uncivilized \nhuman body.
