Kōen dowa is characterised by large audiences and performances using gestures. Many performers of kōen dowa followed the approach to national policy during the war in the Showa period (especially 1941-1945). The purposes of this paper are: (1)to analyse how the storytelling department of Nippon Shokokumin Bunka Kyokai (The National Association for Young Childrens’ Culture) came to follow the national policy line during the war in the Showa period, and (2)to observe the type of educational policies contained in a storytelling script of aerial defence education written by KANAZAWA Kaichi (1908- 1986). By organising articles on activities of the storytelling department in the newsletters of Nippon Shokokumin Bunka Kyokai, it was found that the department had changed by degrees to positively propagate the approach to national policy.Through analysing an educational script on aerial defence, it was found that a nationally held ideal image of young children and youth groups was presented.}, pages = {155--163}, title = {戦時下の口演童話に見られる国策協力の検討 : 金沢嘉市による防空教育の話材を事例として}, volume = {20}, year = {2018} }
