A total of 406 new students and 409 guardians completed questionnaires\nabout student life, career prospects, dormitories, and their families. The main findings are\nas follows. (1) The percentage of students with anxiety about classwork and results is the\nhighest at 66.3%, whereas the percentage of students with anxiety about seeking employment\nhas declined over the last seven years. (2) The percentage of students who wish to work in\nprivate enterprises is 57.7% and the percentage has increased gradually. (3) More than half\nthe students answered that their fathers or mothers are involved in planning their future and\nfinding employment opportunities for them. (4) The percentage of students and their guardians\nwho know about scholarship systems and dormitories is decreasing gradually.
