Using online databases such as CiNii, J-STAGE, and Google Scholar, articles published in academic journals in the field of psychology between 1926 and 2019 were searched using “breast-feeding,” “meal,” or “eating” as keywords. A total of 73 articles were classified according to the content and subjects of the study. It was found that the main research themes around meals in studies of psychology included the clinical complications of eating disorders in adolescence and the interactions of infants during mealtime. Previous research suggested that eating experiences in childhood affect eating behaviors in adulthood. Therefore, it is important that recommendations for interventions preventing the onset of eating disorders be based on mealtime interactions from infancy. However, the studies on meals during infancy did not address clinical issues. These findings suggest the need to clarify what type of relationships in mealtime interactions ensure the mental wellbeing of children and prevent eating disorders.}, pages = {125--134}, title = {日本の心理学分野における食事の研究動向と今後の課題}, volume = {22}, year = {2020} }
