| 内容記述 | This is the second year of the Backcasting Future Visions Seminar, which began in 2019. This paper intends to report on the results of the class held in 2020 and present suggestions for next year’s event. In this class, students brainstorm the types of social problems that could emerge in the near future. Each student considers what measures should be undertaken in the present to avoid social problems. All classes are based on active learning and dialog. During the first semester, students will be introduced to a variety of social problems through classes taught by guest lecturers from different fields. During these classes, students will be encouraged to choose which social problems they want to examine and find effective solutions for those problems. Through dialog with themselves and others, students will become aware of their own potential to change the future. In addition, students will learn how to express themselves. Students can become more confident by improving their interpersonal skills. During the second semester, students will give presentations on their assigned projects, express their own opinions, and suggest solutions. Next year, the Backcasting Future Visions Seminar will encourage students to form groups and work collaboratively on different social issues. |
