内容記述 | This study focuses on rural public kindergartens and identifies the challenges faced by rural public kindergarten directors in China. In addition, it identifies effective leadership practices of public kindergarten directors to address these challenges. First, public kindergarten directors play a pioneering role in the policy trends in preschool education. They can creatively use limited resources to address inadequacies in the educational environment. In addition, faced with a shortage of kindergarten teachers, they can take the initiative of educators. They are also responsible for addressing the concerns of families who are unable to enroll their children. Second, the role of public kindergarten directors as promoters in the development of education and training of educators was clarified. It seems effective to select kindergarten teachers with a strong willingness to learn from out-of-school training and to provide all teachers with fair opportunities for career development in the development of kindergarten administrators. Third, public kindergarten directors need to act as leaders in curriculum development to create educational content. They can make use of the social resources unique to public kindergartens to enrich educational content. It seems to be effective to guide teachers and continue to learn alongside them and to guide parents to cooperate in kindergarten activities to ensure the continuity of these activities at home. |
