| 内容記述 | 女性は男性より多くの家事労働を担っており，コロナ禍により女性の家事負担はさらに増えた．インテリジェントICT 技術の発展は女性の家事負担の軽減に新たな可能性をもたらす．インテリジェントICT 技術は家事労働の自動化を推進し，それにより女性のアンペイドワーク時間の半分以上が減少する可能性がある．本稿は家事労働を省力化または自動化させるインテリジェント家電の利用に着目し，それらの家電の利用と既婚女性の家事労働との関係を確認した．使用するデータは，お茶の水女子大学生活科学部が実施した「AI，ICT 等テクノロジーの利用が仕事と家庭生活に与える影響調査」WEB アンケート調査の個票である．分析の結果，コロナ感染拡大に伴い，家事負担が増加しやすい時期にも関わらず，コロナ禍でインテリジェント家電を利用し始めた世帯の妻の家事時間はコロナ前より減少し，家事頻度もインテリジェント家電を利用しないおよびコロナ前より利用している世帯の妻より低い．そして伝統的な家電製品に比べて，インテリジェント家電はより既婚女性の家事負担を軽減させることも示唆した．一方コロナ前より食洗機・衣類乾燥機という伝統的省力化家電を利用している世帯の妻の家事負担はむしろ利用しない世帯より大きいという興味深い発見もある． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Intelligent ICT is increasingly affecting domestic work. Domestic automation through technologies such as ‘AI' and ‘smart' could potentially reduce more than half of women's unpaid work time. This paper focuses on the use of intelligent appliances and domestic work that automated by these appliances; attempts to confirm whether the use of these appliances is correlated with the domestic work of married women. Using survey data collected by Faculty of Human Life and Environmental Sciences Ochanomizu University in November 2020, We examined that for the wives who started using some kind of household intelligent appliance due to COVID-19, their housework time are likely to decrease compared to the pre COVID era. For the wives who started using AI assistant, remote control for home appliances, dishwasher, robot vacuum cleaner and clothes dryer during the pandemic, their housework frequency during COVID tend to be lower than wives who didn’t use these appliances. However, compared with housework frequency for wives who didn’t use dishwasher and clothes dryer, wives who started using them before the pandemic, their food management and laundry frequency during COVID are higher. | |||||||||
