| 内容記述 | This paper explores the sustainable operation of Ochanomizu University SCC. When the SCC was established, its primary objective was to cultivate “the ability to become aware of various problems that arise in community living with others, and to develop and use a variety of knowledge and skills to solve these problems” through life in the student residence hall. However, it is challenging to assert that this role is being adequately fulfilled at this time. To sustain education in residence hall in the future, it is necessary to obtain the latest findings and make improvements based on them. The findings presented in this paper on the educational role and operation of residence hall were derived from interviews with researchers specializing in student support and from study visits to student dormitory at other universities. This paper then looks ahead to the future management of SCC. |
