| 内容記述 | Shadow complexity is an invariant of smooth 4-manifolds introduced by Constantino. It is based on Turaev’s shadow, a 2-dimensional polyhedral object related to a smooth 4-manifold. We show that the shadow complexity of a spineless 4-manifold, constructed by Y. Matsumoto in 1975, is 0. We construct another 4-manifold which is a Poincar´e complex of formal dimension 2 admitting a spine, and show that the shadow complexity of it is 0. | |||||||||||
