| 内容記述 | Recently, the transnational migration phenomenon has started to gain a growing attention. Along with many other countries, Mexico（as a whole nation, that is to say all the 32 states）has been sending emigrants to the United States. Currently, migration studies are facing the need to develop more complex and deep analysis in order to grasp the phenomenon accurately. Women's migration studies are a significant part of this effort. Some research has been conducted on immigrants' gender roles and gender relations in different contexts. However, their questions tended to emphasize the causes and effects of the migration on gender relations, or vice versa. As both aspects（migration and gender relations）are intertwined with each other, it is necessary to consider a mutual and continuous influence. The purpose of this paper is to explore the influences of migration on Mixtec women's sexuality, an intimate and essential aspect of their life, while taking other social factors（i.e. age, marital status, work, family relations, etc.）into consideration. By examining their diverse transnational migration experiences in detail,\ the paper aims to contribute to the discussion of migration and women's empowerment. |
