| 内容記述 | In Japan, various volunteer organizations, NGO and NPO for environmental conservation were born successively in the past ten years. Recently, even except for the areas in which the serious environmental problems are held, the activities whose residents have the leadership are positively developed. Therefore it is necessary that residents who have abundant knowledge about regional environment should perform such activities for environmental conservation. Since the important roles of residents and residents organization in environmental conservation are widely recognized, it is also strongly insisted the necessity of building the partnership between the residents and administrations for environmental conservation. Furthermore, in order to advance the environment conservation and the improvement of regional environment exactly, it is necessary to grasp the influences of public awareness and action on regional environment. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to grasp the public awareness and action of the menbers of volunteer organization and other residents, and to compare analysis results in the lake Biwa's d\ rainage basin. The conclusions of this study can be summarized to the following two points. (1)Since the members of volunteer organization feel the strong attachment for their city and their concerns about water environmental conservation were very strong and they had positive intentions to participate in the volunteer activities. (2)The awareness of the Moriyama residents for water environmental problem is low and they had negative intentions to participate in the volunteer activities. And even if their awareness for water environmental conservation is relatively high, it doesn't lead to their action for water environmental conservation. |
