| 内容記述 | This paper is the first comprehensive report on status of the Admissions Office Selection at Ochanomizu University, which is successfully executed since the 2008 admission. It includes various analyses of “Application Document” , “Questionnaires about AO Applicants” right after the two-day selection and Grade Point Average (GPA) after entrance. Through these analyses, mostly by statistical methods, the selection method itself is proven much accepted by most applicants, who see it brings them a new good opportunity of self-discovery and very strong motivation to study at Ochanomizu. Most of the selected applicants actually show significant superiority in academic achievements after entrance. However, we only have four year experience with this new selection and GPA is one of the aspects where we should evaluate the AO selection, so we still need to continue analyses further year by year, observing some new aspects such as career after graduation, satisfaction with college life, extracurricular activities, etc. | |||||
