| 内容記述 | “Toyokage” is a collection of waka poems, which was compiled by Fujiwara-no-Koremasa so as to \ make it seem like a story. I think Koremasa’s purpose of making it up is embodied in the waka poems and \ the distribution of them in “Toyokage”. In this paper I view the function of the waka poems by reading \ the three poems from No. 21 to No. 23 which relate the girl servant Nobe, who served under a Female.\ These three poems are written in the fifth story of “Toyokage”. I think this story is intended to show \ the difference of Nobe’s work. On one hand Nobe does not seem to work well because she failed \ to intermediate between Toyokage and the Female and also died. On the other hand she seems to \ contribute to make Toyokage’s expression in the three waka poems he sent to the Female. In each \ poem the word ‘nobe’ is included and means not only the servant’s name but also a field. The context \ made by the meaning of a field gives expression to Toyokage’s heart for the Female.\ In conclusion I think the function of these waka poems is to construct a world which differs from \ the real one. |
