| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to explore the domains that patients with spinocerebellar degeneration consider to be the most important for their quality of life (QOL). Thirty-three patients with spinocerebellar degeneration completed the Schedule for the Evaluation of Individual Quality of Life-\ Direct Weighting (SEIQoL-DW). Based on these data, the domains were categorized according to the KJ-method, and each domain was also analyzed by its “weight” and “level” to evaluate the significance and the degree of satisfaction for the patients. The findings suggest that the patients described 165 \ domains, classified into 38 subcategories and 9 categories (support by the family, enjoyable time, maintaining physical functions, future worries and hopes, self-acceptance, personal responsibilities towards family and society, social bonds, autonomous and financial stability). Each subcategory was also assessed. The three categories with the highest significance for low satisfaction were: “maintaining physical functions,” “future worries and hopes,” and “self-acceptance.” An assessment of individual QOL domains, including their significance and degree of satisfaction, is important for obtaining precise information on issues related to the QOL from the patient’s point of view. This research will help to improve care planning for patients based on the information obtained through this study. |
