| 内容記述 | This paper aims to examine Korean women in magazines of the 1960s and 1970s in relation to the family planning project. For my research I used a women’s educational magazine called "Family Friend” to analyze the issues. The structure of this paper is as follows. First, I examine the content of the project, taking into consideration the social situation in the 1960s and 1970s, when the project was being implemented. Secondly, I discuss the role of the Korean Family Planning Association in the family planning project, and its relationship with the government. Thirdly, I examine the image of women at the time by analyzing the activities of the family planning project personnel and the Mothers ’ Association for Family Planning as described in the women’s magazine “Family Friend”. | |||||
