| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to reveal the following aspect of the liberal arts college vision of the Japan Education Reform Committee (abbreviated as JERC): the position of liberal arts education in teacher-training.The study reveals the following two points.First, liberal arts education pursued in teacher-training were arts and sciences, both of which were to be majored individually as an academic field. However, some insisted on emphasizing humanistic liberal arts.Second, liberal arts education and specialized education for subjects were understood as adjacent by contrasting them against specialized education for teaching. One perspective emphasized liberal arts education particularly in training primary school teachers. | |||||
