| 内容記述 | This study examined how 28 women raising young children talk about and make sense of their adherence to “maternal love” and themselves. This study is a qualitative investigation of adherence to “maternal love” that was treated as a quantitative concept, for example, high, middle and low. The results showed six types of adherence to “maternal love” (Women who accept adherence to “maternal love, accept it but are unable to do so, accept it to themselves, accept part of it and refuse the other part, refuse but practice it, and refuse it) were identified. Four types of them (Women who accept it but are unable to do so, accept it to themselves, accept part of it and refuse the other part, and refuse but practice it) were seemed to be middle group of adherence to “maternal love”, but their narratives were very different. So, it is necessary to investigate not only quantitatively but also qualitatively of adherence to “maternal love”. Then, it must have a qualitative research including mothers’ life-event and life perspectives. | |||||
