| 内容記述 | This paper aims to specify kinds of interactions by which discussions are organized and differences among these interactions due to constitution of group participants. The data consist of 16 audio- and video-taped 40-minutes discussions, made by three different groups: Japanese students, international students, and mixture of these two. The results show that the discussions were organized by 21 types of interaction, which were named "activity". By function, these activities could be categorized into the following 3 types. "1. Task accomplishment activity", "2. Development management activity" and "3. The other activity". A significant difference between groups of Japanese and international students was found in the development management activities. More development management activities occurred in Japanese students groups than in international students groups. The Japanese students showed the tendency of accomplishing tasks collaboratively via confirming the agreements between them step by step. As non-native speakers, international students accomplished tasks by making use of task sheets and pooling ideas from a\ ll. As for mixture groups, data was quite limited and no clear character was observed, though they showed the tendency of combination between the other two kinds of groups. |
