| 内容記述 | Gauche was the worst player in Venus Orchestra. The story described how he grew through his interactions with some small animals. In his work, Miyazawa Kenji’s experience of learning cello was revealed through the description of music. Miyazawa Kenji’s description of musical instrument started from the scenes when they were practicing, when Gauche interacted with the small animals, when Venus Orchestra played Symphony No.6 in the town concert, to the scene when Gauche played The Indian Tiger-Hunt as an encore. The names of the songs all sound real, yet there is no way digging up more information about the songs only through the names, Symphony No.6, The Indian Tiger-Hunt, Träumerei, The Merry Coachman, whatever rhapsody. On the other hand, Miyazawa Kenji specifically and clearly described the body movements of Calico Cat running around and the “Cuckoo” trying desperately to curl itself up. Here in the thesis, I’m going to focus on how Miyazawa Kenji described body movements when it came to music, thereby further exploring what music meant to him. | |||||
