内容記述 | This study aimed to clarify how part-time teachers interact with children during the extracurricular hours in the evening. It was conducted through participant observation and semi-structured interview surveys that focused on one p part-time teacher at an Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) center. The analysis showed that the part-time teacher’s interaction with children during extracurricular hours was different from that during curriculum hours: she did not try to interact with all the children in the same way; she attentive to the relationship each child wanted with her; she created a comfortable environment for children who did not want direct involvement; and she responded to children who sought close involvement. From these results, it is considered that the interaction of the part-time teacher in the evening is not mainly focus on the education of the child, but rather than focused on each child's way of spending their day. |
