| 内容記述 | 本研究は、謝罪場面における問題の「事情説明」の過程の特徴を明らかにするために、日本語母語話者（JS）同士とタイ語母語話者（TS）同士を対象とし、ロールプレイを用いて、「事情説明」の展開パターンと応答を比較し、分析した。結果、①「事情説明」の展開パターンについて、JS とTS は【問題の前触れ→問題の報告→問題の説明】のパターンを共通して多用していた。②「事情説明」に対する応答は次の違いがあった。JS の謝罪される側は「事情説明」の段階を問わず、相づちをしばしば打つことで、相手の説明の継続を支持していた。一方、TS の謝罪される側は「事情説明」の各段階によって多様な応答を使用していた。特に、説明や確認を要求することで、相手に詳しい説明を促していたことが分かった。以上の結果から、「事情説明」への応答の仕方が母語によって異なるものの、日タイ両者の会話参加者は「事情説明」の過程を協力して構築していたことが示唆された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to investigate “Explaining a situation” processes in apology situations by focusing on the development patterns and the responses to “Explaining a situation” and comparing between Japanese and Thai native conversations. The analysis of roleplay conversations revealed that both Japanese native speaker (JS) and Thai native speaker (TS) apology tellers tend to use the “Problem Approach→ Problem Arrival→Problem Delivery” pattern to explain a situation. While the matter is being explained, JS apology recipients make brief responses by saying back channel “um” in every step to support the tellers to continue the further explanation. However, TS apology recipients response variously in each step, especially request more information by asking questions to urge the tellers to proceed with further explanation. According to the results, JS and TS’s responses to the matter are different. However, both of language participants construct “Explaining a situation” process reciprocally. |
