| 内容記述 | This article is an abstract of the author's final lecture, "Understanding Children and Language: Reflections on Half a Century," held on March 18, 2024. The author presented two cases of her own involvement with children with disabilities through play, and clarified that having a sense of discomfort with language and repeating reflection and practice is a process of understanding. In conclusion, we can better understand children as people who speak different languages and live in different cultures by engaging them with interest. We also suggested that engaging not only with children but also with people from different cultures in an interesting way can serve as a guideline for building a society that recognizes mutual diversity. | |||||||||
