| 内容記述 | Recently a bill to revise the Long-term Care Insurance System, which the Diet is currently debating, seeks to get“ Kaigo-Yobo”（the prevention of elderly people requiring nursing care from further losing physical and mental strength） institutionalized. This revision will introduc the reduction of domestic services within the framework of the System, causing a greater demand for the service providers outside of the framework. In this article, I will focus on“ Kasei-fu”（Japanese domestic care worker） and the way of providing care services outside of this framework by the many care service providers. The purposes of this article are two subjects. The first is to make clear the characteristics of Kasei-fu's working situation and service provision before and after the introduction of the System. The second is to locate the Kasei-fu's work in the framework of Care work. This study is an important as it has never been researched before, and will be helpful when we consider the transformation of the Care work became of these revisions of the system in future. | |||||
