| 内容記述 | 本論では、女性画家ベルト・モリゾをモデルとしたエドゥアール・マネ作《休息》（1870年）をめぐる批評、カリカチュア、表象の分析を通して、19世紀後期フランスにおけるジェンダー・イデオロギー構造の一端を考察することを目的としている。《休息》は、1873年のサロンに同時に出品された男性表象《ル・ボン・ボック》とは対照的に、「不安定感、醜さ、汚れ、未完成」といったコメントやカリカチュアによって酷評された。当時のコンテキストにおいてそれらの批判は、彼女の所属すべき中産階級のイテオロギーとジェンダーの規範から逸脱を暗示しており、作品の評価にはそれらの規範が深く絡み合っていたことが浮かび上がってくる。また《休息》の制作過程や、画中画《玉取姫》の解釈から、マネのモリゾに対する心理的葛藤が表されている可能性も指摘したい。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to consider a part of the gender ideology structure in the late 19th century France, through analyses of criticism, caricatures, and representations about 《Repos》（in 1870）, in which Berthe Morisot （woman artist） posed as a model for Edouard Manet. When 《Repos》 was exhibited at Salon in 1873 along with 《Le Bon Book》, it was savaged by bitter comments such as “instability, ugly, dirty, unfinished” and by cruel caricatures, while 《Le Bon Book》 which represents male was favorably accepted. Those criticisms insinuate, in the context of those days, the deviation of 《Repos》 from the gender canon and ideology of bourgeois to which she belongs. Here we can see a close relationship between the estimation of the arts works and the canon. Also through the study of the work process of 《Repos》 and the interpretation of its inset 《Tamatori-hime》, I would like to point out the possibility of which Manet's psychological conflicts with Morisot is depicted in it. | |||||
